Bayit Al HaTzur (House on the Rock) is a Messianic space where we endeavor to be and become true disciples of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus). Here we seek to earnestly discuss, defend, and demonstrate from the scriptures (the ONLY authoritative source for revelation of God) the manner in which we should walk as subjects in the Kingdom of God and Messiah.
There are some foundational truths that we will establish from the start within this space which we will expound upon in the “foundations” section. Topics and themes that require this prerequisite knowledge-base will refer one back to the appropriate site-section(s).
As an ideal we will contend the more earnestly for what there appears to be consistent scriptural support for and corroboration for from the scriptures (Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings including the Writings of the Apostles). All other writings are regarded as non-authoritative. The proper means of scriptural interpretation is to permit scripture to interpret scripture as we are (plurality of elders, multiplicity of counselors and witnesses) illuminated by the Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit).
That is, we should NOT be contentious over teachings and doctrinal views which at most are dubiously supported and we should avoid proof-texting to assemble our model as it were, at best, ‘a house of cards’. NEITHER should we be contentious over matters of tradition and halachic (the way we should obey/walk) rulings of those who reject Messiah Yeshua (Rabbis, Pharisees, Karaites, Kabbalists, others) and who base their authority outside that which is prescribed by the scriptures.
Having said that, in the area of prophetic events and eschatological views there are elements that are by nature ambiguous as Daniel the prophet was told that ‘many shall go to and fro and knowledge will increase .. yet the prophecy is sealed until the time of the end ..’ . Therefore, within these elements we may have differing views and opinions and that too is well and good.
However, there are some foundational prophetic premises that must be laid and some fundamental prophetic errors that must be refuted and these will be addressed in the ‘foundations’ section.
We also seek to avoid foolish and vain disputations. The labels and monikers of sectarianism. Those who claim that THEY alone hold the ‘pure teachings’ over and against all the OTHERs (branded as heretics and outside THEIR group).
Yes, TRUTH will at times divide us, however, let us be sure that we do not make our boast(s) in the flesh and that we steer clear of self-righteous pride; for this reason we are in this space humbly and simply ‘disciples of Messiah Yeshua’.
There are differences of opinion within the Messianic community which are NOT foundational nor do they have any bearing on our serving King Messiah. Therefore, we can have unity and fellowship in the bond of peace.
Yet there are others who say that they ‘know Him’ yet in works deny Him. These we will contend with in love not as judges; for Messiah Himself said that He will not accuse them in the last day, BUT the Torah will be THEIR judge.
We will abide in that unity that Messiah prayed for if we would stop the struggle for control and recognize that the authority is of Messiah and YHVH as He has revealed Himself to us. It is an authoritative source external to us, revealed to us in it’s proper interpretation and application by the Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit) who abides in US (collectively). It IS and has always been about ‘a body’ with Messiah Himself as ‘the head’.
A body thou hast prepared .. (Messiah Yeshua) .. We also (as the body of Messiah), seek to do thy will .. Oh! God!

Enjoy, be edified, and built upon the Rock of Messiah Yeshua !
